For tenants

A tenant workspace for shared tenancy records.

Invited tenants use RentalKey as a simple tenancy workspace for shared records and communication. It is not a payment portal, bond service or legal notice system.

01

Tenancy-limited access

The tenant workspace shows the current property and tenancy context the owner has authorised.

  • Only the invited tenancy
  • No owner portfolio access
  • No internal Operations notes

02

Rent records and payment instructions

Tenants can review owner-recorded rent information and the owner-approved payment instructions. RentalKey does not process or hold rent.

  • Rent amount and frequency where recorded
  • Paid-to and recorded payment information
  • Payment reference and owner bank-transfer instructions

03

Maintenance communication

Maintenance requests keep the issue, status, access availability and owner questions in one place.

  • Report or review maintenance where authorised
  • Availability is not entry authority
  • Emergency guidance remains separate

04

Shared documents

Tenant-visible documents and tenant-facing messages stay separated from owner-only material.

  • Shared tenancy documents
  • Accessible download actions
  • Owner-only documents remain denied

05

Messages

Tenant-facing conversations are ordinary platform messages. They are not automatically legal notices.

  • Tenant-visible messages only
  • Internal notes not visible
  • Delivery state where supported

06

Appointments and inspections

Shared inspection or appointment records appear only when intentionally shared by the owner or authorised workflow.

  • Entry, routine or exit inspections where shared
  • Maintenance appointments where shared
  • No restricted pilot booking controls
